Did the government approve of Cancer?

We use products for years only to find later they were dangerous. Many of our personal hygiene deodorants contain toxic aluminum mixed with other chemicals. (Linked to Alzheimer’s Disease). We personally use other dangerous chemicals, including mercury dental fillers, fluoridated public water supplies, and fluoride-contaminated toothpaste. Fluoride is a waste product from fertilizer and nuclear power plants.

This dangerous chemical transforms into dangerous gasses and vapors directly into your air conditioning coolant systems circulating our inhaled air supply. For example, think about Freon gas for air conditioners and refrigerators. Although Freon isn’t used in newer car air conditioning systems, it’s still used to recharge older vehicle models and other appliances. All too frequently, we discover things that dangerously affect our health or damage our environment. One thing these toxic substances have in common is causing people bodily injury and harm. But now, in addition to fluoride, Colgate faces lawsuits from the proliferation of Triclosan into their oral hygiene products.

What Are The Results of The Research Study on Colgate Toothpaste?

In recent weeks, a study done on Colgate has made people question if it’s safe to use since it showed Colgate contains cancer-causing you might want to avoid. The study found the toothpaste guilty of including Triclosan.

  • Triclosan, What Is It?

“Triclosan is an ingredient added to many consumer products intended to reduce or prevent bacterial contamination. It is added to some antibacterial soaps and body washes, toothpastes, and some cosmetics—products regulated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). It also can be found in clothing, kitchenware, furniture, and toys—products not regulated by the FDA.” (Source FDA Website).

Several studies exist since the first, and the ones not paid for by the manufacturing industry are damning to Colgate.

Though the substance is nothing new to cleaning products, science is getting more precise about cancer-causing chemicals. As a result, without admitting Triclosan is dangerous, Colgate voluntarily stopped using Triclosan in its toothpaste several years ago.

Triclosan Makes Soap and is also Toxic.

We think so. Of particular concern, Triclosan is used to make other products besides toothpaste. These are the same chemicals used to make laundry detergents, deodorants, etc. However, none of these products go inside our mouth like our toothpaste. We should all be paying attention to the chemicals manufacturers have placed inside of our toothpaste.

The Chemical Research In Toxicology is a magazine that published and ran a new survey involving toothpaste and its latest research. They claimed the chemical Triclosan was an active ingredient used to make Colgate for many years that may cause high cancer risks, placing people regularly using this product in jeopardy. Studies prove that Triclosan causes Cancer when used in significant amounts. Long-term Colgate users have stark choices to make and must think about their future toothpaste choices.

What are Some of the Triclosan Chemical’s Side Effects?

As mentioned earlier, we know the side effects of substances. They exist in the products we use regularly. They’re products used for years by people. The news becomes public, and the government does its job to ban the product.

Side Effects of Triclosan Toxicity Include:

  • Abnormal endocrine system/thyroid hormone signals
  • A weakened immune system.

And recent studies suggest that kids exposed to these antibacterial cleansers, or hand sanitizers, have a statistically more significant risk of lifetime asthma, allergies, and skin conditions, such as eczema. Also, Canada took immediate protective steps banning caustic chemical containing toothpaste. Another critical point, their government banned Triclosan altogether, not just in toothpaste. In most respects, the U.S. has less aggressively taken some protective measures against Triclosan. Time will tell us whether other countries will react to this new study positively.

Also, they may want to look at Canada’s decision to ban this substance. If you are using a product containing toxic chemicals to pass through your skin, large amounts might absorb in the body depending on how frequently absorption into your bloodstream occurs. Hormone imbalance is a potential reaction caused by Triclosan entering your blood. As noted, Triclosan can inflict other damage besides making you prone to certain cancers.

Colgate Says You’ll Be Fine

Despite these study results, Colgate continues to stand by its public claims to consumers that their toothpaste causes humans no harm. Whether Colgate causes Cancer or not must be decided through more U.S and foreign studies. For now, you must choose your side during your quest for safe toothpaste.

The reports suggest that the recall has been growing at a fast rate for other products containing Jif too. Fourteen Salmonella cases related to this outbreak were identified in 12 states that could lead to serious personal injuries or wrongful death.

Turns out, several other products are now feeling the impact and pressure due to the Jif brand peanut butter recall.

JIF Peanut Butter Products Tainted?

Learn about the Jif Peanut Butter recall and attendant problems. On May 20, 2022, the J. M. Smucker Company issued a voluntary recall of certain peanut butter-containing products.

Jif Peanut Butter’s Impact on other Products

Just when it was perceived that the impact of the recent peanut butter recall would remain confined to Jif peanut butter, things have taken a turn for the worst. It turns out that several other related products are feeling the impact and pressure from Jif peanut butter contamination. It’s not just Jif brand creamy peanut butter on the chopping block.

The store sources claim at least 69 products are affected by the Jif Brand peanut butter recall, including many Creamy Peanut Butter variants and sizes like creamy peanut butter, reduced-fat, crunchy, and natural peanut butter variants and container types made with the Jif peanut product.

Early Jif, Peanut Butter Recall Info, is Alarming

Reports of injuries are coming from West Virginia all the way to the California coast. For example, the J.M. Smucker Company recently recalled multiple Jif peanut butter products marketed in the United States and Canada. The Jif peanut butter recall is due to a potential salmonella contamination outbreak that federal regulators claim has led to at least 14 illnesses in consumers at vending machines, the 7-Eleven Chain, and retail stores the Pak N Save across the United States.

But it’s not just Jif, and the Smucker Company with Salmonella Senftenberg concerns pulling these products from their store shelves. The FDA confirms that Wawa Company is now pulling at least two products from its stores suspected of salmonella contamination, including Creamy Peanut Butter and “Wawa Apple & Peanut Butter Dipper.” Garden Cut Garden Cut products recalled contain a 0.75-ounce Jif Peanut Butter Cup inside with apple wedges and celery bites as well.

Also, Cargill recalls 795 8-ounce boxes of candies and munchies manufactured with the recalled Jif peanut butter, including:

  • Milk and dark chocolate-covered peanut butter Ritz crackers
  • Peanut butter meltaway
  • Peanut butter eggs and fudge
  • Fresh Seasons Power Packs.

These items were distributed locally at the Wilbur Chocolate retail store in Lititz, Pennsylvania. These candies and snacks were also sold online and distributed nationwide at Wilburbuds.com.

The recall impacts foreign markets, including countries like Canada, Dominican Republic, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Honduras, Spain, and Japan.

Next, I will cover how you can receive financial compensation for your out-of-pocket medical expenses, property loss, emotional pain, and suffering from mental anguish and physical pain.

What is the reason behind the Cascading Effect?

Surprisingly, there is a long list of companies that use Jif peanut butter while manufacturing their products. These products include peanut butter sandwiches, chocolates, and many more products.

Initial Recall

The parent company of Jif, J.M. Smucker Co., has reportedly decided against proceeding with a voluntary recall. The announcement regarding the recall was made last week, and it was a voluntary recall. Why J.M. Smucker Made the Recall The decision to recall the Jif peanut butter was made after the traces of a salmonella outbreak.

The traces were found at one of the facilities that manufactured the peanut butter for Jiff. The executives confirmed that the manufacturing company is based in Lexington, Ky. The traces of the salmonella outbreak were found in the specific facility by the Food and Drug Administration.

Other Companies also Issued Notices of Their Product Recalls.

After the recall announcement, other companies have begun recalling their Jif products. They are also doing this to ensure that their products do not end up causing any outbreaks among consumers. Almost every day, a new company is announcing the recalling of their products, like creamy butter, from the stores in fear of salmonella contamination.

For example, Mary’s Harvest Fresh Foods, located in Portland, Oregon, has recalled their celery and apple peanut butter cups. Cargill issued a recall for various online marketed snacks sold through the Lititz, Pennsylvania, Wilbur Chocolate store. Taher, located in Plymouth, Minnesota, recalled their Fresh Seasons Power Packs since they all contain peanut butter from Jif. Are we missing anything?

Among the affected products are varieties of veggie and fruit snack packs. Many companies have added Jif as a confectioner to these products, like creamy peanut butter. As a result of the possible outbreak, these companies have started recalling their products. They do not want to get dragged into the same crisis Jif peanut butter itself faces.

49 Recalled Products Belong to Jif itself

Jif officials have confirmed that they have already started recalling their products carrying creamy peanut butter in particular. In total, 49 products have been identified by Jif from its product list brings peanut butter. These products range from cups containing 0.75 ounces of peanut butter cups to 40-ounce peanut butter-containing jars.

Other major companies affected by the recent recall are Albertson and Del Monte. For Albertsons, it was the snacks made by the company in-store, and for Del Monte, PB& J sandwiches were impacted.

How to Establish if a Peanut Butter Product Got Recalled?

Using the lot code numbers, you can establish whether or not the particular product was affected and recalled. The lot code numbers can be located near the date “best buy.” You must not confuse the identified peanut butter lot codes with the UPC number and brand information present in the bar code recalling the product due to potential salmonella contamination.

If the product carries “425” at the end of the seven-digit lot codes, it was indeed manufactured in Lexington. Similarly, if a product by Jif brand peanut butter and creamy peanut butter has the first four digits of lot codes ranging from 1274 to 2140, it’s a recalled product.

Experts strongly advise that you don’t ingest these products, as they have a very high contamination risk. The products carrying these codes or ranges must be disposed of immediately.

The Surprising Link Between Sugary Drinks and Heart Disease: A Legal View

Health, Large Companies, And Misrepresentation

Accident Coach. The Surprising Link Between Sugary Drinks and Heart Disease: A Legal ViewWe recently did a piece on energy drinks and their brain injury health risks to kids and military personnel here. This is a follow-up delving into recent research exposing something many people were aware of but had little direct proof of. Sugary drinks, like sugar and other products, represent a particular health risk to women. In addition to health risks represented by other types of food and drink, this adds another layer of a need for awareness among the general public. Unfortunately, this latest news should not surprise anyone familiar with how large food processors work.

Large corporate food distributors frequently pad their products with a variety of harmful and not-as-harmful effects. Some cases include ingredients to increase weight, such as water. In other cases, it may include using dyes or gases to create or preserve a specific color; this is especially common among butchers.

Lying About Sugary Drinks To Consumers – Not Okay!

However, some companies decide to stretch their foods with certain ingredients meant to get the eater addicted and coming back from war. In these cases, many companies add sugar, fat, or salt to their products. Each of these added, in addition to the natural state of the product, makes it more likely to cause health problems down the line. You may ask yourself why this matters. After all, such products are not nearly as dangerous as the additives included in products such as cigarettes.

In particular, these additives often include cancer-causing materials or additional nicotine. The dangers of such additives here are simple for anyone to see. That is why they are of so much focus both in the media and in the national consciousness. That is where the public does not include the same Focus as it should on food safety. In many ways, food safety is far more than it was perhaps fifty or a hundred years ago. However, in many ways, food safety and health hazards are significantly different t than they were even two decades ago.

Compare The Health Risks

To properly understand this, we must first include several major statistics for us to consider. We tend to think of smoking because of the severe issues caused by the practice. However, this only paints a portion of the story. Below we will list several significant health hazards caused by various causes.

  • Let’s start with one related to smoking. There are approximately 154,000 annual deaths in the United States caused by lung cancer.

Let’s tie in one that does include smoking and more common food and exercise habits. Almost 650,000 Americans die of heart disease every year. This number is surprising all on its own but also from the fact that this is the number of people killed in the entire Civil War. Heart disease represents one out of every four deaths in this country annually.

The New Study

The new study shows an incredible link between sugary drinks and specific health risks. The study was authored by Cheryl Anderson, interim Family and Public Health chair at the University of California, San Diego. It was published in the Journal of the American Heart Association on May 13th. Among the many findings, the researchers found that women who drink one or more sugary drinks daily have a nearly 20% higher risk of heart disease than women who don’t.

And going beyond the traditional focus of just soda, researchers found that other sugary drinks, including fruit juice, also provide a particular risk. Among the many reasons that drinking sugary drinks may cause severe heart implications comes directly from the study.

“It raises glucose levels and insulin concentrations in the blood, which may increase appetite and lead to obesity, a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease,” Anderson said. She added that additional sugar In the blood also could increase cholesterol in the bloodstream and inflammation in the body. Such sugar levels also increase the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. All of these tend to narrow the arteries, potentially developing or exacerbating the effects of heart disease.

Extensive Research Shows A Personal Injury Connection?

And this was not just a fly-by-night study. Overall, the study included over 100,000 female teachers from the state of California. Included in the survey are some astounding statistics. This showed that women who drank one or more sugary drinks per day were 26% more likely to need surgery to restore blood flow and over 20% more likely to have a stroke. The research corrected cases in which an individual drank an occasional sugary drink and those who consumed such a product nearly every day. And even worse for people who drink fruit juices as an alternative to sugary sodas is that such drinks are not safe either.

The study found that women who drink fruit juices are almost twice as likely to develop heart disease as women who drink soda. Researchers also correlated the drinking of sugary drinks with relative youth, obesity, and smoking. These combined make a person less likely to have a healthy diet. Furthermore, researchers did not find a direct link between diet drinks and heart disease. However, researchers and the American Heart Association say these are much less desirable than drinking water. Water alone is the number one means of preventing illness for drinkers.

What Are My Legal Options For A Sugary Drink Injury?

This is where your family may need some legal advice. The use of deceptive advertising and marketing by different juice companies and food manufacturers is critical. They may have played a role in how and why you are a loved one developed heart problems. This may also apply to severe health issues caused by consuming certain types of food.
